Badly drawn animal #46, the breakdown:

71 lines drawn on paper produce the outline for 72 shapes. 16 of these shapes are coloured in black, leaving all the remaining shapes adjacent to at least one them.

Photographed then digitally enhanced. The original lines are covered with a thicker stroke. Purple is added, colouring in 9 of the shapes. A dark red and an orange is also added, filling in 8 and 6 shapes respectively. Highlights along the edges of the outlines, in bright red, yellow, and soft grey, set on a slightly scaled and angled layer, make up for the final touches.

Several variants of the highlights layer were planed and a template saved in preparations for a possible animated GIF file version of the piece in the future.
